I watched this only a few years ago but I’ve completely forgotten the name of the movie.

So some details. I’m pretty sure the setting of the movie takes place a long time ago. The main character is a man, and at some point he gets imprisoned. Then he and this old man who is also a prisoner dig a hole under their cell. Then the old man dies and the main character escapes by pretending to be the dead man in the bodybag. The jailers throw him into a lake or something and he almost drowns.

At some other point in the movie I think he finds treasure, and at another random part, someone’s fingers get cut off by a sword.
