The movie I’m trying to get the title of, is a movie I remember enjoying very much. I was probably 7 or 8, maybe older when I first saw it. Maybe around 2000 or earlier. I can’t really remember all the scenes because it was so long ago, and I’ve never seen it again. But It was set in this Arabian country i think, and there was a princess and she was telling stories to her lover I think, and the stories were pretty dramatic(they were of war, love etc..), I think in the end either she or her lover got stabbed with a sword by a jealous third party. Or maybe it was one of the stories she was telling. I hope someone can help.
