Just saw a short scene: in a log cabin, rough men sitting around eating drinking, the start fighting a man and small demons and animals start being produced from magic, the man fights them as they keep multiplying . possibly black and white but a modern looking movie.
Sounds like the 2014 Viy remake, Forbidden Empire.
What you described reminds me of a scene in the Stephen King movie: Dreamcatcher (2003).
