A French movie from the ’80s, it was nihilistic in tone.  A young woman hitchhikes across the country.  Nothing good ever happens to her.  She finally ends up in a little village where everyone seems to have locked himself in his home except two bizarre, brutish men dressed like bunches of grapes.  They soak her in a bath tub of grape juice (or wine).  Because it’s cold and she has nowhere to get warm and dry, she freezes to death.
