I’m looking for the title of the film or TV show episode from the ’70s or early ’80s about an elderly man plotting to kill his wife. It was filmed in English and in technicolor. During one unsuccessful murder attempt, he placed a bowling ball on a closet shelf, hoping it would fatally strike her on the head after she opened the door. Ultimately, he tricks her to fetch something from their large walk-in freezer. Afterward, he locks her in and she subsequently freezes to death; however, later on he accidentally locks himself in that freezer and ironically suffers the same fate as his wife. The last thing I remember is he slowly approaches his dead wife, who is sitting with her back toward him, frozen stiff.
