I remember a movie that aired on HBO back in the early 1980s (around the same time when Star Wars, Super Fuzz were in loop). It’s been way to long to remember the plot, but I think it was a group of mercenaries or criminals picked to work together to pull off something big (heist, huge crime??). The one scene that stands out to me was a scene in which a bunch of these guys were in a large room, playing Russian Roulette with what I believe was rubber bullets. Other than this, I only remember the main character forming this group by visiting each of the groups characters one by one.

I was maybe 8 years at the time, but remember the acting and over all production value being pretty low budget.

Any help with this would be awesome as it’s been bugging me for years.
