hi please help it was a movie from the 1960’s I believe a war forbidden romance. I belive a woman falls in love with a german officer that walks with a limp. I believe he was the enemy of her country she has as affair and when found out she is cast out and before she is cast out her long hair is cut off. and I believe she has to leave her country , and the only person that didn’t judge her was a disfigured man who cries for her in the end any help I would appreciate thankyou
