this was a re-run comedy on “comedy central” in the late 90s but not sure when the movie was released. I believe it was a parody of the story of Odysseus or similar setting. A dopey man is traveling the world in search of (a woman or something). I remember a scene where the main character is climbing a mountain and enters a cave above the sea. He finds a goddess with multiple arms and has sex with her, which gives him strength and power. her husband who is literally a giant comes home and finds them. (movie in english and in color)
