All I remember is I saw it in the late sixties(1960’s) in Malaya, and involved some sort of army training camp. I believe it was WW2 British war comedy and there is a scene I distinctly remember, where a girl who is washing a pile of crockery & plates spills the plates on to the floor due to some remarks from her officer boyfriend. Then they kiss and makeup while siting on the broken crockery & plates with the girl in tears. I believe it may be still popular in Britain and I saw a bit of it once in early afternoon BBC 2 while I lived in UK in the 1990’s. Its in color and I would like to know the name of the film.
Hmm, I think I know this one. I watched it in black and white. I think it was something like The Field. Let me know. Many apologies if I am wrong.
I have checked a movie called “The Field” on IMDb, it is a very serious 1990 film.
The movie I had in mine is a late 1960’s/early 70’s British war comedy.
Thanks for trying anyway.
