90’s anti-“playing on the tracks” film, young children, Norfolk Southerns trains, girl loses legs.

I was in Elementary school in Ohio in the early 1990’s and they showed a short film of a girl and a boy playing on the railroad tracks. One goes between the two cars, and the train starts going.

Most of what I remember is one of the kids falls on the tracks and the train runs over his/her legs. The ending is in the hospital, maybe trying to keep the kid alive, but he/she ends up dying? I’m not sure.

I remember there being Norfolk Southern trains in the film, and that stuck with me because my father worked for them at the time.

The school would show this movie to us at least once a year.

Did anyone else see this movie as a youngster? What was it called?
