Watched it in 1986 or 87.  Rented the movie on vhs tape. Language was English and it was in color. I seem to remember it was called “Phantasmagoria”. For some reason that name stuck in my mind, but when I do a Google search  no joy. The most striking feature of the movie was the flying metal balls/spheres that shot death rays or lasers at the protagonists.  That’s about all I can remember.  Oh, it is not the Tall Man (Phantasm) movies.
